Edward McGinnis

Edward McGinnis concentrates his practice on complex insurance coverage litigation including issues involving indemnity agreements and other contractual risk transfer matters. He represents policy holders in coverage disputes involving commercial general liability policies, excess policies and school board legal liability policies. Additionally, Mr. McGinnis actively defends owners and contractors in personal injury lawsuit. Mr. McGinnis has tried cases in state and federal courts including courts in Illinois, Indiana, Massachusetts and South Carolina. He has argued appeals in multiple Illinois Appellate Courts. Mr. McGinnis advises corporations and risk management entities on all aspects of contractual risk transfer including contractual indemnity and insurance agreements.
