Michael Giacopelli

Michael Nathan Giacopelli is the Managing Partner of McVey & Parsky’s Eastern Region offices. He has been a practicing attorney litigating cases for over 12 years in State and Federal Courts in New Jersey and New York ranging from catastrophic injuries and wrongful death to false arrest/false imprisonment and insurance issues. In addition to handling pre-suit claims and litigation for clients in New York and New Jersey, Mike has established a national presence representing and advising clients throughout the country. His practice areas focus on product liability and general liability defense. Mike’s core competence is developing, implementing, and managing high-volume programs for self-insured corporate clients. With his educational and background experiences, including his Masters degree in Negotiation and Conflict Resolution, Mike uses his skills, training, and expertise to navigate large corporate clients and risk management companies effectively and efficiently through claims, pre-suit, litigation, and trial. Mike graduated Phi Beta Kappa from Drew University before obtaining his Juris Doctor from New York Law School. Mike has also received a Masters of Science degree from Creighton University, School of Law in Negotiation and Conflict Resolution. He is licensed to practice in the States of New York and New Jersey, as well as the United States District Court, District of New Jersey, Northern District of New York, Eastern District of New York, Southern District of New York, and Western District of New York. Mike lives with his wife, Rebecca, two children, Emma and Nathan, and dog, Brooks in Verona, New Jersey.
